best of mercury - 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis
By treu - February 21 - 10:00 ami bought the car in 1998 with only 20,000 miles on it and now it has 50,000 miles on it.its the best car for the price out there because, a lincoln cost about $4,000 more and just the same features as this grand marquis and also the car is very reliable and plenty of power for long or short trips. so if you want a car for a good price and reliablity get this car.

OK for a Grandpa Car - 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis
By Cary - December 17 - 5:33 amAlthough I bought this car as a stop gap measure (as my other car blew its trans). I have been ok with this one so far. I have a bad spine due to injury, and the ride of this car is very good for both short and long hauls. I am involved in my sons (youth) fraternal oganization and frequently my car serves a bus for teens and early twenties. Even on three hour rides to events, no complaints and everybody has room.

Great car! - 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis
By Kevin - July 4 - 11:10 amBought this car as an inexpensive commuter and have been plesantly surprised. I bought it one year ago with 80,000 miles on it. I have put 21,000 miles on it in one year. Had to replace the starter, fuel filter, and replaced the rear brake pads and rotors. I enjoy driving this car because its very comfy, quiet, and I think its good on gas considering it has a V-8. I recently returned from a long road trip (1500 miles round trip) and I got 26-28 mpg through the Kentucky/West Virginia mountains. Driving around town and on the highway I average 21 mpg. Currently my "Air bag" light is on but Im not going to worry about it.
